Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Belschner
of Irish Road, East Wilson, announce
the engagement of their
daughter, Pearl Jeanette, to Herbert
Dixon, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Dixon Sr. of 118 Winder-
mere Road. The wedding will take
place Saturday, Aug. 26.

The marriage of Miss Pearl J.
Belschner, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Belschner of the
Irish Road, East Wilson, and her-
bert Dixon Jr., son of Mr. and
Mrs. Dixon of Windermere Road,
Lockport, will be solemnized Sat-
urday at 3 o'clock in First Pres-
byterian Church, Church Street,
Lockport.
Friends and relatives are cordial-
ly invited to attend.

Miss Pearl J. Belschner chose
a princess-style marquisette gown
for her marriage to Herbert Dixon
Jr., solemnized Saturday at 3
o'clock In First Presbyterian
Church parlors. Her veil or illusion
was caught to a wreath of orange
blossoms worn by her maternal
grandmother for her wedding, and
she carried a Colonial bouquet of
white gladioli and chrysanthemums.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Belschner
Of Irish Road. Wilson, and Mr.
Dixon to the son of Mr. and
Mrs Dixon, 118 Windermere Rood.
BRIDE'S ATTENDANTS
Mrs. Ira Poole of Wilson, the
bride's sister, was matron of honor
and other attendants were Mrs
Carol Bennett and Miss Bonnie
Seefeldt. They wore marquisette
gowns with marching headbands
and carried gladioli. Mrs. Poole's
gown was in pink with pink gladioli;
Mrs. Bennett's green with
coral and Miss Seeleldt's, yellow
with matching flowers.
Donald Dixon was his brother's
beat man and ushers were L. Russell
Dixon and Lester Belschner.
Dr. Stephen Palmer, minister,
performed the ceremony and the
bride was given in marriage by
her father. Mrs Robert C. Bishop
was pianist.
MOTHERS WEAR NAVY
Mrs. Belschner wore a dotted
navy and white dress with a corsage
of pink roses and Mrs. Dixon
wore navy and white with a cor-
sage of talisman roses and chrys-
anthemums.
A dinner was served to 30
guests, followed by a reception to
200 at the home of the bride's
parents.
The couple left for Washington,
the bride wearing a brown and
white check suit with brown ac-
cessories and an orchid corsage.
They are making their home at
128 Erie St.
Mr. Dixon is a World War II
veteran and served overseas.
