White chrysanthemums decorated
the altar of Sacred Heart Church,
Niagara Palls Nov. 8 when Miss
Dorothy Benedict daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. George A. Benedict,
Cleveland Avenue, Niagara Falls,'
was united in marriage to Stanley
Pietak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
J. Pietak, Eighth Street. The Rev.
Francis Schwartz officiated at the
Nuptial High Mass.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of white slipper
satin fashioned with a fitted
bodice featuring a neckline of Chantilly
lace and a wide scalloped collar.
The long sleeves extended In
points over her wrists. Her long,
full skirt ended in a cathedral
length train and her scalloped, finger-
tip veil of illusion fell from a
Juliet cap of Chantilly lace. She
carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums
tied with a white satin
bow.
Miss Eileen Benedict, elder sister
of the bride was the maid of honor,
and Miss Donna Benedict, 'younger
sister of the bride was the flower
girl.
Benjamin Pietak brother of the
bridegroom was best man and David
Benedict, brother of the bride,
ring bearer. The ushers were William
Benedict and Frank Pietak.
After the ceremony breakfast was
served for the immediate families
at the Frontier House in Lewiston.
and later a reception was held at
the home of the bride's parents.
For traveling to Montreal and
Quebec City, Canada, the b r i de
wore a gull-grey suit with a pink
feathered hat and black accessories
Upon their return. Mr. and Mrs.
Pietak will make their home in
the Park Place apartments, Third
Street, Niagara Falls.
