WILL BE NOVEMBER BRIDE: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence V.
Slack of 546 Prospect Ave., North Tonawanda, announce
the engagement of their daughter, Clarice Elizabeth, to
Richard E. Wellenc, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wellenc,
256-12th Ave., North Tonawanda. Miss Slack and Mr. Wellenc
are graduates of North Tonawanda and Mr. Wellenc is a
Bryant and Stratton Business Institute graduate. A November
wedding is planned.

Our Lady of Czestochowa
Church was the setting for their
wedding on Nov. 25. The Rev. Vincent
Cyman officiated for the former
Miss Clarice E. Slack, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence V.
Slack, 546 Prospect Ave., North
Tonawanda. and the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Wellenc, 256 12th
Ave.. North Tonawanda.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
floor length, silk organza dress designed
with a Chantilly lace bodice'
and three-quarter sleeves. She
wore a mantilla style Chantilly
lace veil and carried a spray bouquet.
Miss Theresa Mitrowski. maid
of honor, and the Misses Regina
Wellenc and Onda Dunn, the
bridesmaids, wore powder blue
silk organza dresses with royal
blue cummerbunds and accessories.
They carried colonial bouquets
of pink and white roses and
carnations.
Thomas Smolka was best man.
Ronald Kostrada and George Slack
were ushers.
Mrs. Slack wore an olive green
wad sheath dress and a yellow
rose corsage.
Mrs. Wellenc chose a beige taffeta
brocade dress and a corsage
of pink roses.
A breakfast and reception were
given in American Ukrainian Hall,
North Tonawanda.
