High School teacher, Miss Norma
Alice Batson, was married Satur
day afternoon in St. Peter's Epis-
copal Church, Niagara Falls, to
Gerald Raymond Bennion. She is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Batson of Pershing Ave., Niagara
Falls, and the bridegroom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
ML Bennion, Lockport Rd.,
Sanborn.
The bride wore a gown combining
nylon tulle with rosepoint lace.
A coronet studded with seed pearls
and rhinestones held in place her
French illusion veil and she carried
a cascade of white roses,
daisies, carnations and lilies of the
valley.
Miss Jacqueline Cook of Rochester
was maid of honor in an iridescent
lime taffeta frock, ballerina-
length and with matching headpiece.
Her bouquet contained Shasta
daisies, roses, carnations and
baby breath.
Rose taffeta gowns were chosen
by the bridesmaids, Miss R u th
Benson of Toronto, cousin of the
bride, and Mrs. James Owens of
North Tonawanda. Miss Carolyn
Sherlock of Niagara Falls was junior
bridesmaid in a blue taffeta
dress.
Miss Suzanne Preskop of Niagara
Falls was flower girl and wore
a bouffant frock of white lace
and tulle. She carried a basket of
multi-colored flowers. The bride-
groom's brother, Calvin Bennion
Jr. of Sanborn, was ringbearer.
Douglas Bennion was best man
for his brother and the ushers were
La Verne Bennion, James Owens
and George Lochran.
The reception took place at the
Ted-Ra Club, Niagara Falls. The
couple are touring the Laurentian
Mountains.
