TONAWANDA, Sept. 22-Rites will
be held tomorrow afternoon for Mrs.
Caroline E. Schwartz, whose death at
her home, 122 William street, followed
a lingering illness. . The services
will be held at the residence at 2
o'clock. Rev. H. G. Kleiner of the
Redeemer Lutheran church, of which
Mrs. Schwartz was a member, will
officiate. Burial will be in Elm-
lawn. Mrs. Schwartz is survived by
her husband, William; three sisters,
Mrs. Kate Benson, Mrs. Ann Clark
and Mrs. Joseph Mittleberger, all of
Buffalo, and two brothers, Nicholas
Bender, Buffalo, and edward Ben-
der, Rochester.

Mrs. Caroline E. Schwartz, 59
years old, died yesterday afternoon
at her home, 122 William
street, after a prolonged illness.
Bom in Bergen, N. Y., she had resided
in Tonawanda the past 42
years. She was a member of the
Redeemer Lutheran church. Surviving
are a husband, William;
and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Benson,
Mrs. Ann Clark and Mrs.
Joseph Mittlebegrer, Buffalo. Rites
will be held Thursday afternoon
at 2 o'clock from the residence.
Rev. H. G. Kleiner will officiate.
Burial will be in Elmlawn.
