A former Middleport resident,
Julius Wasvary. 73, died early
this morning (Dec. 31, 1897) at
Crothers Nursing Home following
an illness of three years.
Born Dec. 24, 1884 in Austria,
he cam* to this country several
years ago. While living in Middle-
port for years he was a former
cabinet maker and operated a
small nursery there.
Survivors include a son, William
J. Wasvary of Lockport; three
daughters, Mrs. Robert Hayden of
Lockport, Mrs. Robert Spalding of
Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Rob-
ert Bensley of Medina, and eight
grandchildren.
Friends may call beginning
Thursday at the Gaul Funeral
Home, Inc., 263 East Ave. Serv-
ices will be held at the funeral
home Saturday morning at 8:30
and at St. John's Church at 9.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's
Cemetery.
