- Patsy Passero

Patsy Passero, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the Buffalo VA Medical Center. Born on March 15, 1924 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Armando and Antonietta (Caporaso) Passero.
Mr. Passero was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and a graduate of the former Trott Vocational High School. Patsy also furthered his education while attending photography school. He proudly served in the United States Army, during World War II, in the 82nd Airborne Division, serving in the Battle of the Bulge, from November 2, 1942 until his honorable discharge on November 15, 1945. Mr. Passero was the recipient of the Purple Heart, 4 Bronze Battle Stars, the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon, the American Theatre Ribbon, the Victory Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal. Patsy was self-employed as a professional photographer while operating Peter Pan Studio.
Mr. Passero is survived by his beloved wife, Isabelle (Rodney) Passero; one daughter, Lenore (Michael) Brumett; four grandchildren, Nathan, Danielle, Tyler and Gabrielle and five great-grandchildren. Patsy is also survived by four siblings, Theodore (Marie) Passero, Gloria (late Carmen) Fortunate, Lucille Passero and Mario (Carol) Passero and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Patsy was predeceased by five siblings, Louise (late Anthony) Perry, Yolanda (late Charles) Berds, Angela (late Carmen) Zarillo, Roland (late Margaet) Passero and Albert Passero.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 11-2 in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where a funeral service, concluding with Military Honors, will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
