Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lacey of
146 Wheeler St. announce the en-
gagement of their daughter, Chris-
tine Mae, to Richard Berg, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Berg Sr. of

set for the wedding.

riage of their daughter Christine:

St. Francis of Assist Church. The
Rt Rev John A Weismantel officiated
before an altar decorated
with white gladioli
The bride wore a lace-trimmed
gown of satin with a court-length
train. Her fingertip veil was caught
to a sweetheart shaped headdress.
The bride carried a bouquet
of white roses.
Bridal attendants, the bride's
sisters, Mrs. Margaret Grant, mat-
Ton of honor in fuschia; Mrs.
Francis Kopenski. in shrimp color'
and Miss Carol Lacey, in blue.,
wore gowns of taffeta. All carried;
bouquets of yellow roses and pom-'
pons tied with ribbons to match
their gowns.
Attendants for the bridegroom;
were his brothers, Charles, the
best man; Howard and Robert,
ushers.
For her daughter's wedding Mrs.
Lacey chose a peacock blue dress
with black accessories and a corsage
of yellow roses and white
chrysanthemums. A purple taffeta
dress with black accessories and a
corsage of roses and pompons
fashioned the costume of the bridegroom's
mother.
After a wedding dinner in the
Isle View a reception was given
in Ellicott Manor. Mr. and Mrs.
Berg traveled to Florida for their
honeymoon. During their stay they
visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur F.
Hey in St. Petersburg, formerly of
Wheeler St.
Showers for the bride were given
by Mrs. Frank Lacey, Mrs. Char-
les Berg St., her daughter, and
daughters-in-law.
