The marriage of Miss Barbara
Ann Berhalter. daught
e r of Mr. and Mrs. William
Berhalter, 344 Payne Ave., to
Edward L, Burns, 15 Hurst
Court, Town of Tonawanda,
was solemnized Oct. 9 in St.
Andrew's Church, Kenmore.
The Rev. Eugene M. Radon
performed the double ring
ceremony.
The bride wore ° a full-length
gown of white nylon tulle with lace
insertions in the skirt, over a satin
underskirt. The lace bodice was
buttoned from a mandarin collar
to the waist. Her cloche headpiece
of lace, trimmed with pearls,, held
her fingertip veil and she carri
a white prayer book with shattered
chrysanthemums and ervotamia.
She wore a strand of pearls, the'
gift of the bridegroom.
Mrs. Archie Smith Jr., sister of
the bride, as matron of honor wore
a ballerina-length gown of powder
blue nylori. A soft scarf was drapec
over the shoulder of the bodice
which was gathered to a full skirt
She carried pink roses and carnations
tied with iridescent b l ue
ribbon.
Brothers of the bridegroom.
John W. Burns, best man and
Joseph Burns, the usher, were his
attendants.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Berhalter chose a black
pink rosebud print dress, a black
velvet hat and accessories and a
corsage of pink shattered gladioli.
The bridegroom's mother accent-
ed her charcoal grey wool dress
with black accessories and a cor-
sage of yellow shattered gladioli.
A breakfast for the bridal party
and immediate families was given
in te Hotel Sheraton, Buffalo. Mr.
and Mrs. Burns traveled to Penn-
sylvania for their wedding trip and
are at home in 246 Tremont St.
Pre-nuptial events included a
variety shower given by Mrs.
Burns and a luncheon party by the
bride's associates at Frederic
Flader Company.
