J. (Lefty) Beringer, 66,
of North Tonawanda,
unexpectedly Friday
(February 2, 1979) at
DeGraff Memorial
Hospital. Born in
Tonawanda. he was the
husband of Helen (nee
Towers) Beringer who
died in 1967 and son of
the late Wendel and Rose
(bee Sieber) Beringer. A
Navy veteran of World
War II, he had been
employed at In-
ternational Filler Corp.
in North Tonawanda for
more than 45 years,
retiring in 1978 and was a
member of St. Francis of
Assisi Church and
Tonawandas Post 264,
American Legion.
he is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. June
Celano of Ontario, Calif.,
Mrs. Sandra
Hlassmgham of Pomona,
Calif . and Mrs. Terry
Palm of Carlsbad,
Calif a son. Robert W.
Beringer of Los Angeles.
Calif four sisters, Mrs.

Christian Burial at St.
Francis of Assisi Church
at 9:30. The Rt. Rev.
Msgr. Ralph M. Miller
will officiate. Burial will
be at Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.
