Miss Judith Ann Bernsdorf,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
A. Bernsdorf, 401 Walnut St., and
Robert Stephen Sterling, son of
Mrs. Gladys Sterling, Marion, O.,
and Stephen Sterling, Washington,
were united in a double-ring ceremony
Sept. 3 in St. Patrick's
Church by the Rev. Roy W. Crissy
before the altar decorated with
baskets of white gladioli.
CHAPEL-LENGTH TRALN
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of
tulle over taffeta. The fitted bodice
featured a "V" neckline of Mencon
lace. The bouffant, floorlength
skirt of tulle over taffeta
fell to a chapel-length train. Her
fingertip veil of illusion was caught
to a cap of lace accented with seed
pearls and sequins. She carried a
cascade bouquet of white feathered
carnations and stephanr is.
Miss Anna Kate Judge was maid
of honor. She wore a princess
style, cocktail-length dress of
champagne color lace over taffeta

and white feathered carna
tions.
Miss Barbara Ziehl was brides
maid and Miss Susan Sterling
Marlon. Ohio was Junior bridesmaid.
They wore gowns identical
to that of the maid of honor in
blue.
Brenda Gamble. Dundas, Oat.,
was flower girl. Her shrimp color
taffeta dress was floor-length and
she wore a hat of white ruffled
nylon. She carried a basket of
sweetheart roses and stephanotis.
BEST MAN, USHERS
Richard Bartek was best man
and ushers were Dale Crump,
Wright's Corners and Charles
Grundman, Rochester.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Bernsdorf chose a beige lace
cocktail-length dress with beige
accessories. She wore a corsage of
talisman roses. Mrs. Sterling favored
a pink lace dress with aqua
accessories and a corsage of pink
roses and white carnations.
A wedding breakfast followed
the ceremony, and a reception
from 3 to 5 o'clock was held at
the Elks Club. Bouquets of the attendants
and a four-tiered wedding
cake decorated the bride's
table. The Misses Betsy Whalen
and Frances Foltz served punch.
For traveling, the bride selected
a red velvet sheath dress with
jacket and black accessories. Her
corsage was of white carnations
and stephanotis. The couple will reside
in Pensacola, Fla.
The bride was graduated from
Lockport Senior High School. The
bridegroom was graduated from
St. Paul's High School, Norwalk,
Ohio, presently statoned with the
Navy at Pensadola.
