ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH
was the setting at 11 a.m.
Saturday (July 11, 1970) for
the marriage of Miss Linda
S. Henry and George H.
Chaika in a d o u b 1 e . r i n g
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Roland B.
Bird, 459 18th St., and the
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. John Chaika, 9107
Rivershore Drive.

THE BRIDE was given in
marriage by her stepfather,
Roland B. Bird. She wore a
gown of silk organza styled
with circular skirt, long puffed
sleeves, ruffled cuff, Vneckline
and chapel train. A
satin bow outlined the waist
and venise lace daisy motifs
accented the bodice, neckline,
sleeves, cuffs, skirt and train.
A matching Camelot headpiece
trimmed in venise lace
and pearls held her cathedral
bouffant veil. She carried a
white orchid surrounded with
white daisies.
The matron of honor was
Mrs. James J. Pino, Middletown,
Pa., sister of the bride,
in an orchid chiffon gown with
empire waist and long
sleeves, and with daisy flow-
ered trim and green velvet
ribbon at the waist. A
matching Camelot headpiece
with bouffant veil completed
her ensemble. She carried
white and orchid daisies.
The bridesmaids were Miss
Helene Chaika, sister of the
bridegroom, Miss June Bird
sister of the bride, and Miss
Patricia Cicero, all in pale
blue. They carried white and
blue daisies.

LYNN M. PINO was flower
girl, in orchid chiffon. She
carried a basket of white and
orchid daisies. Her headpiece
was a matching bow.
Alfred DeFrancesco was the
best man. Ushers were Frank
Chaika, brother of the
bridegroom, John Etopio and
Steve Kolarich.
A brunch was held at the
Treadway Inn after the
ceremony. There was an
evening reception at the
Crown and Anchor
Restaurant.
The couple plans a wedding
trip to London, England.
After completing requirements
for the bridegroom's
master's degree at State
University College at
Brockport. the newlyweds will
reside in Niagara Falls.

announce the engagament of their daughter,
Miss Linda S. Henry, to George Ohaika, son
of Mr. and Mrs. John Chaika, 9107 Rivershore
Drive.
Mis Henry is a 1967 graduate of Niagara
Falls High School and is employed by the
Metropolitel Life Insurance Co.
Mr. Chaika is a 1966 graduate of LaSalle
High School and is a senior at Niagara University
where he is majoring in physical education.
The wedding date is July 11, 1970
