Shirley A. Beasock

NIAGARA FALLS — Shirley A. (Matheis) Beasock, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013. Born in Buffalo, NY on November 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Hattie Matheis and attended local schools. Shirley worked as a companion for HANCI and she loved to go to bingo and the casino. Shirley especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Junia) Beasock, Sr., James McKinney, Joann (Dave) Bucko, Tina Beasock, Bobby Beasock, Lynn Wyatt, Susan Beasock, Tammy (Rich) Christian, Tracy Beasock, all of Niagara Falls, NY, and Nancy (Sue Raymond) McKinney of Texas; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her nurses and aides who took care of her: Tracy, Karen, Chris and Tamkia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert D. Beasock, Sr. on July 25, 1987; her sons, Duane and Michael; brothers, Victor, Norman and Butch; sisters, Fran, Katherine and Dorothy.
Friends may call Tuesday, August 13th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th St., cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will take place at 9:00 PM, with Pastor Tom Broderick officiating. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kenmore, NY, will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Niagara Bank in care of Shirley A. Beasock.
