engagement of his sister,
Karen Alice to Joseph W.
Barnes, son of George B.
Barnes of M Phelps St. and
tite late Mrs. Barnes.
A June wedding is
planned.

rectory of St. Patrick's
Church, Saturday, June 6,
1964, united in marriage.
Miss Karen Alice Bisher and
Joseph Walter Barnes. Miss
Blsher's parents are deceased.
The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
George B. Barnes of 54
Phelps St., Lockport. The
Rev. Leo F. Reddy, pastor
of St. Patrick's officiated.
For her wedding, t h e
bride chose a full - length
gown of white taffeta created
with a fitted top of rosepoint
lace. Matching lace appliques
adorned the bouffant
skirt of taffeta and a pearl
crown held her veil of silk
illusion. She carried a bridal
bouquet of white carnations
centered with sweetheart
roses.
Serving as the honor attendant
was Mrs. George L.
Bisher Jr. who was attired
in a gown of pink chiffon.
A matching headpiece held
her brief veil and she carried
a bouquet of pale pink
carnations centered with
deep pink sweetheart roses.
Attired identically was the
attendant, Miss Dolores
Zahno of Ransomville.
Donald Barnes of B u rt
served as best man with
George L. Bisher Jr. as
usher.
The wedding reception followed
at the home of the
bridegroom's parents where
the couple will make their
home
The bndrgroom is an employe
of the Simonds Saw
and Steel Co. at Lockport.
