A pretty summer wedding took
place at the home of the bride's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bissell, at
?? o'clock Saturday afternoon. July 5,
When Miss Cora Bissell became the
bride of Frederick Porter, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Burton Porter, before a
background of ferns, roses and black-
eyed-Susans. The ceremony was per-
formed by Rev. F. C. Rogers, pastor
of Kendall Mills Methodist Church,
The bride's wedding gown was a
pink formal and she wore a corsage
to match. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Geo.
Schoepf, sister of the bride, wore a
blue formal with corsage to match.
Ellsworth Porter was best man for
his brother.
After the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the bride's
sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs.
John Mcllmurray, where lunch was
served to thirty guests.
The bride and groom left on a wed-
ding trip of a week and will be home
to friends after July 13 at 76 Mc
Naughton Street, Rochester.
