WRIGHT'S CORNERS-Arthur (Bill) Jones, of 3683
Lockport-Olcott Road, who would have celebrated his
58th birthday today, died Sunday (March 10, 1968) at
Lockport Memorial.Hospital after suffering an apparent
heart attack at his home.
He was born in Lockport and
had resided here for the last
15 years.
He was employed at the Lockport
Felt Co. Division of the
Carborundum. Co. He had been
a fireman there for' 15 years.
Previous to that he. was a fireman
on the former New York
Central Railroad.
Mr. Jones was, a member
of the Wright's Corners Presbyterian
Church.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Gertrude Bistoff; two
daughters, Mrs. George (Mary
Ann) Swigert of Newfane, and
Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Stanton
of Lockport; a sister, Mrs.
George (Ethel) Leber of Hawthorne,
Calif., and a brother,
Edward of Lockport, and four
grandchildren.
Friends may call beginning
today at 7 p.m. at the Kenneth
H. Sherrie Funeral Home, Newfane,
Servcies will be held there
Wednesday at 2 p.m. the Rev.
Robert LaMay will "officiate.
Burial will be in Cold Spring
Cemetery, Lockport.
