Spring flowers decorated
St. John's Church. Lockport,
for the double - ring
wedding ceremony uniting
Susan Marie Ackerman and
William Morris Diermyer.
Mr. and Mrs. William
Ackerman, 5731 Stone Road,
Lockport, are parents of the
bride. Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Diermyer, 5 Adam St., are
the groom's parents.
The bride was presented
in marriage by her father.
The Rev. Joseph H. Penkaul
performed the 4 p.m.
wedding, April 17.
Her attire was a white
double - knit dress of street
- length and white veiled
nylon petal headpiece. She
carried a colonial bouquet
composed of white roses,
carnations and diasies.
Miss Linda Archer, sister
of the bride, was honor
attendant, wearing a pale
orange street - length dress
and matching petal headpiece.
Gary Ackerman, brother
of the bride, was best man.
Following the church
service, a reception for the
immediate family was held
at the home of the groom's
aunt and uncle, Mr. and
Mrs. Lauren Coleman of
Crescent Drive.
The couple is making
their home at 104 Gooding
St., Lockport.

The future bride, a senior
at Lockport Senior High
School, is employed parttime
at the New York State
Division of Employment.
Mr. Diermyer, a graduate
of De Sales Catholic High
School, is employed at
Harrison Radiator Division,
General Motors Corp.
The wedding will be July
10 at St. John the Baptist
Church, Lockport.
