Mr. and Mrs, Scott Bixler of Hartland

their daughter. Sadie L, to Erving T.
Cunningham of this city, the marriage,
to take place in the near fut-
ure.

On Saturday, April 20, the marriage
of Miss Sadie L. Bixler, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bixler of
Hartland and Irving I. Cunningham
of this city was solemnized at the
home of the groom's parents. Mr and
Mrs. Jonathan Cunningham of Good-
ing St., the ceremony taking place at
5 o'clock, Rev. Walter L. Hazen of-
ficiating.
The bride was gowned In white net:
over meaaallne and her bouquet was
of white rose buds and sweet peas.
She was attended by her cousin. Miss
Ethel Bixler of this city as bridesmuid,
also wearing white mesealine
with over-dress of net and hef flow,
ers were pink rose buds and sweet
peas. Clifford Cunningham, the
groom's brother, acted as best man.
A reception and supper for 20 fol-
lowed the ceremony, the bridal table
being decorated with white roses. To
her maid the bride's gift was a string
of pearls, while to his best man the
groom presented a scarf pin.
Later Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham
left for a trip to Waterford, Ont. the
bride wearing a suit of navy blue
serge with hat and veil to match, and
after May 15th they will be at home
at 170 Gooding St.
Among the out of town guests were
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence staats and
daughter Violet of Middleport. Mr.
and Mrs. Scott Bixler and Louis Bix-
ler of Hartland.
