Blackburn Sr., 58, of 125 Wil
liam St., Tonawanda, unexpectedly
Monday (Jan. 29, 1973)
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
A native of Tonawanda, he was
a member of St. Francis of
Assisi Church. He owned and
operated Clyde's Restaurant on
Delaware Street for 25 years
and for the past two years was
fireman custodian for both
School 45 in Buffalo and Riverview
Elementary School in
Tonawanda.
He is survived by his wife,
Dorothy H. (nee Rohlman)
Blackburn; two daughters, Mrs.
John (Constance) Cady of
Kenmore and Mrs. Dale
(Cheryl) Zdrojewski of
Tonawanda; five sons. Glen Jr.,
of Charlotte, Vt., Kenneth of
Sharpsville, Pa., Bruce of Ton-
awanda. David of Buffalo and
Michael Blackburn at home;
two sisters, Miss Dorothy
Blackburn of Washington, D.C.,
and Mrs. Judy Ganoe of Buffalo
and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth
Funeral Home, Morgan and
William Streets, Tonawanda,
where services will be held at 9
a.m. Thursday, followed by a
Mass of the Resurrection at St.
Francis of Assisi Church at 9:30
a.m., the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph
M. Miller officiating. Burial
will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
A prayer service will be conducted
at 8 o'clock this evening
by the Rev. David Griffin at the
funeral home. (30-31)

Mrs. James G. Blackburn of 3i< Fremont
street waj celebrated yesterday
afternoon at 4 o'clock at their home.
Reverend Arthur W. Birke, pas*or of
the Grace Methodist Episcopal
Church perfcrmed the ceremony. The
spensers were: Mrs. W. H. Ames of
Tonawanda; Mr. Herman Faulsdich
of Chicago, Mr. Glenn Stevens of Madison,
Wis., and Mrs. A. H. Walrath of
Davenport, la. Luncheon was served
with covers for fourteen.
