The engagement of Miss Elizabeth May
Dier to Karl Blair is announced by her
p a r e n t s , Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dier,
Michigan Avenue. Mr. Blair is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blair. Fifth Street.
Miss Dier, a graduate of Niagara Falls
High School, Is employed at Niagara Falls
Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Blair has completed his service with
the U.S. Navy after spending two years In
the Caribbean. He is employed by Moore
Business Forms Inc.

(Sept. 14, 1963) in Epiphany
Episcopal Church. Rev.
John E. Wickenden officiated.
An afternoon reception
for the immediate family
and close friends was held
at the LaSalle Yacht Club
and an evening reception
took place at the home of
t h e bride's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Dier,
2225 Michigan Ave.
The bridegroom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
Blair, 241 Fifth St.
The bride was given in
marriage by h e r father.
Her gown was of imported
silk organza. She carried a
white Bible with four white
orchids and sprigs of Scottish
heather.

MISS DARLENE BARCLAY,
cousin of the bride,
was the m a i d of honor.
Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Margaret Holt and Miss
Beverly Dier and the junior
bridesmaid, Miss Marilyn,
Dier,- all sisters of the bride.
They wore peacock blue
starched chiffon over yellow
taffeta. They carried
white daisies and pompons.
The bride's niece, Janet
Thomson, wore a short
w h i t e organdy-dress and
carried a basket of pink
flowers. Ringbearer John
Thomson nephew of the
bride carried a heart-shaped
pillow.
DAVID DIEM was best
man. Paul Blair and Thomas
Blair, brothers of the bridegroom,
and Robert Dier,
the bride's brother, were
ushers.
The bride's mother wore
A blue print sheath dress,
and the m o t h e r of the
bridegroom was dressed in
a turquoise nylon sheath.
Their corsages were white
pompons.
