Norman Strough Dies Here at 44
Funeral services for Norman W. Strough 44, of 3931 McKoon Ave.,will be held Monday at the Gridley Funeral Home, The Rev. Aldin (sp.) Burnswill officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Strough died last night in Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Tonawanda, he had resided here for the last 23 years. He was terminal manager of the Sherks Trucking Lines, Buffalo. He was a member of the Buffalo Traffic Club, the Niagara Falls Transportation Club and LaSalle Lodge 1049 F&AM, and was an ensign in the Merchant Marine, 1943-45. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen P. Strough; a son N. Thomas Strough; a daughter, Gretchen M. Strough; his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Strough, Tonawanda, three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Tingue, Tonawanda and Mrs. G. Schultz and Mrs. John Kaiser, both of North Tonawanda and three brothers, William and LeRoy Strough, both of Tonawanda and Franklyn Strough, North Tonawanda
