In a candle light service in the
Gowanda Baptist Church. Miss
Flora Mae Jacques, daughter of
Clyde Jacques of the Wardtown
Road.Perrysburg, and Robert L.
Blodgett, son of Mr. and Mrs.
-Warren Blodgett of East Main
Street, were united in marriage
at 8 o'clock on Saturday evening.
The Rev. Mr. Johnson officiated.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a ballerina length
dress of frosted organdie with a
lace cap. She carried a bouquet
of white roses and snapdragons,
centered with white lilies.
Miss Rose Jacques of Perrysburg,
sister of the bride, was maid
of honor and wore a yellow organdie
ballerina length dress and
lace- hat and carried a bouquet
of pink roses, snapdragons and
carnations. David Finnegan of
Erie was best man.
Following the ceremony a reception
for 60 guests was held
at the home of the bride's father.
Upon returning from a trip to the
Thousand Islands, the couple will make
their home at 395 East Main
Street.
