Mrs. Delia Groff (nee Chur), 74,
of 7172 Groff Road. Town of Lockport,
died Sunday (Dec. 2, 1962)
at Lockport Memorial Hospital
following a brief illness.
Mrs. Groff, widow of Joseph C.
Groff, was born May 10, 1888, in
Buffalo, the daughter of George
and Augusta Poppenberg Chur.
A resident of Lockport for 43
years. Mrs Groff was a member
of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
Surviving are five daughters,
Mrs. Stanley Blonkowski of Burt.
Mrs. Bruce Diebold of Elkton,
Md., Mrs. Howard Mietz. Miss Delia
A. Groff and Miss Jeanne R.
Groff, all of Lockport: two sons,
George C Groff and William W.
Groff, both of Lockport; 11 grandchildren;
one great grandson and
-everal nieces and nephews
Friends may call at the Prud-
"en and Kandt Funeral Home,
Z42 Genesee St., from 7-9 p.m.
this evening and from 2-5 and 7-9
p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services
will be held there Wednesday
morning at 11 a.m. with the Rev
Victor Mesenbring, pastor of
Mount Olive Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran
Cemetery.
