Dr. and Mrs. William L.
Macon IV are honeymooning
in Bermuda and will make
their home at 785 College
Complex Circle, Rochester,
upon their return.
The pair was married at
4 p.m. June 7, 1969 in the
Chapel of Colgate Rochester
Divinity School by the
Rev. Canon Nathaniel T.
Whitcomb.
Formerly Miss Mary Lynn
Schilling, the bride is the
daughter of Mrs. Melvin
Schilling of 500 South Academy
St., Medina, and the
late Mr. Schilling. The
groom is the son of Dr. and
Mrs. L. Macon, St. Louis,
Mo.
Mrs. Lee Schilling of Atlanta,
Ga. was matron of
honor and Miss Molly Macon
of St. Louis, the groom's
sister, was bridesmaid.
Dr. Bo Eklof of Lund,
Sweden was best man. Ushering
duties were performed
by Dr. John Griffin and
Dr. Stanley J. Birge Jr., both
of St. Louis; and Dr. J.
Frederick Mushinski, Chevychase,
Md.
The bride was given in
marriage by her brother,
Lee Schilling.
For her marriage, the
bride wore an ivory organza
gown with high rise peau d'
ange lace bodice. The A-line
skirt terminated in a removable
chapel - length train
edged with lace. A matching
headpiece held her bouffant
silk illusion veil and she
carried a cascading bouquet
of gardenias and stephanotis.
A reception, immediately
following the ceremony,
was held at the faculty club
at the University of Rochester
The bride, a graduate of
Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse,
is a registered nurse
at Strong Memorial Hospital,
Rochester. Her husband is
a graduate of Princeton University
and Harvard Medi-
cal School. He is a resident
at Strong Memorial
