A veteran of World War I, William
F. Bluhm, 54, of 250 N o r th
Transit St., who has been an invalid
since he fell and injured his
back while working on a construction
job about two years ago, died
today in this city.
Mr. Bluhm was born June 25,
1894, In Lockport, son of August
Bluhm and Albertine Roggow
Bluhm. He was educated In the
Lockport Public S c h o o l s and
served overseas for 18 months with
the 174th Regiment in World War
I. He was a member of B. Leo
Dolan Post, 410, American Legion.
Surviving are two brothers, Alderman
Fred W. Bluhm of Lockport
and Herbert W. Bluhm of Burlington,
Vt., and three sisters, Mrs.
Fred W. Pratt, Mrs. Lee W. Taylor
and Mrs. William C. Sewar, all
of Lockport.
Services will be held tomorrow at
4 o'clock at the Prudden Funeral
Home, 242 Genesee St., the Rev
Herbert L. Slegner, pastor of St.
Peter's Evangelical Church officiating.
