A senior design engineer at
Harrison Radiator Division, General
Motors Corp., and an ardent
yachtsman, Edward F.
(Bud) Lewis, 56, of 6176 Howell
Ave., Newfane, died Saturday
(Dec. 19, 1964) at Buffalo General
Hospital following a twoweek
- long illness.
Mr. Lewis, who was born in
South Dayton, N.Y., was a member
of the Island Yacht Club,
Wilson; Oak Orchard Yacht
Club, Lockport Power Squadron
and the New York State
Boatmen's Association.
He had previously been employed
for 10 years at Merritt
Engineering.
He is survived by his wife,
Olive Boetcher Lewis; a sister,
Mrs. Charles Thomas, G r a nd
Island, and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call at the Prudden
and Kandt Funeral Home
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral
services will be held at
the funeral home at 11 a.m. tomorrow
with the Rev. Herbert
L. Siegner officiating.
Niagara Lodge, 375, F&AM, of
which Mr. Lewis was a member,
will hold Masonic services at the
funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today.
Burial will be in Glenwood
Cemetery.
