BLUHM - August-F. Bluhm of Olcott,
N. Y passed away suddenly at
the City Hospital Saturday evening.
October 1, 1949. He is survived by
five nieces and one nephew, Mrs.
Gladys Gomesky. Miss Mabel Boetcher,
Mrs. Lenora Scott, Mrs. Freda
Israel. Mrs. Olive Lewis and Walter
Boetcher. all of Lockport also
brother of the late Mrs. Augusta
Boetcher. Friends may call at
Prudden Funeral Home, 242 Genesee
Street where funeral services
will be held Tuesday afternoon.
October 4th at two o'clock. Burial
In Trinity Lutheran Cold Springs
Cemetery.

LOCKPORT, Oct. 3 - Services for
August F. Bluhm, 71. of Olcott. a
former steward at the Exempt Volunteer
Firemen's clubhouse and the
Red Men's club, this city, who died
Saturday -night at Lockport City
hospital, will be held tomorrow at 2
o'clock at the Prudden funeral
home. 242 Genesee street. Burial will
be In Trinity Lutheran Cold Springs
cemetery.
Mr. Bluhm was found earlier In
the day by friends In a semiconscious
condition on the floor at
his home. He had suffered a stroke.
Born November 22, 1877, in Clar-
ence. Erie county. Mr. Bluhm lived
in Lockport and Olcott many years.
He was a member of the former
Hydrant Hose compsny and the
Exempt Volunteer Firemen's association:
He formerly worjeed as a
press operator at the Harrison
Radiator Division, General Motors
corporation. Nieces and nephews
