of Newfane, announce the engagemeat
of their daughter. Patricia
A., to Pvt. Terrance M. Weir,
USMC. son of the late Mrs. Vera
Weir and stepson of Fritz Weir of
Olcott.
Miss Bobzien Is a graduate of
Newfane Central School and Bryant
and Stratton Business Institute.
Buffalo. Pvt. Weir attended
Newfane Central School and is now
stationed at Camp Lejeune, N. C

The marriage of Miss Patricia
Bobtien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Elwood Bobzien, 9 Lincoln Court,
Newfane, to Terrence Weir, son
of Fred Weir. Olcott and the late
Mrs. Weir will be solemnized Saturday
afternoon at 4 in the Newfane
Methodist Church.
A reception will follow immediately
at the American Legion
Hall, Newfane. Relatives and
friends are cordially invited.

Miss Patricia Ann Bobzien will become the bride of
Terrenee M. Weir at 4 this afternoon in the Methodist
Church, Newfane. The Rev. Raymond Shaw will perform
the ceremony before the altar decorated with baskets of
white lilacs.
The bride is the daughter of Mr,
and Mrs. Elwood C Bobsien, Newfane,
and the groom is the stepson
of Fred Weir, Olcott and tint
late Mn. Weir.
The bride will bo given In mar*
riage by her father. Her waltzlength
gown of imported chantilly
lace and nylon tulle over white
satin is fashioned with a sabrina
neckline and long fitted sleeves.
The very full skirt hi made with
alternate bands of lace and tulle.
Her fingertip veil of French bridal
illusion is caught to a crown
headpiece of Imported French seed
pearls. Her cascade bouquet is of
white carnations and lilies of the
valley.
ATTENDS SISTER
Tbe bride has chosen her sister,
Miss Joyce Bobzien, Newfaae, as
maid of honor. She will wear a
gown of white nylon chiffon, ballerina-
length, with blue accents,
blue picture hat and accessories,
and carry a bouquet of blue roses
and white pompons.
Bridesmaids are the Misses Carole
Aderman, Kidgewood, Judith
Large, Newfane and Sandra Bobzien,
Newfane, sister of the bride.
Their ensembles and flowers are
identical te that of the maid of
honor to pink.
Barbara Bidleman, Altamount
will be flower girl to a blue organdy
dress. She will carry a basket
of pink roses and white pompons.
Lawrence C. Moore, Gasport, is
best man. Tbe guests will be seated
by Frederick Boyer, Olcott;
Samuel Sterling, and Kenneth Drier,
both of Newfane.
Mrs. Kenneth Drier, Newfane,
soloist, will be accompanied by Edmund
Searles, Newfane, organist
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Bobzien has chosen a blue
pleated dacron dress with white
accessories and a yellow rose corsage.
RECEPTION TO 388
A wedding reception Is being
held at tbe American Legion Hall,
Newfane. for approximately 300
guests.
The bride's table will be enhanced
by white candles silver candelabra
and centered with an arrangement
of white lilacs, lilies of
the valley and forget-me-nots.
After a wedding trip to the Ad
irondacks. the couple will live to
Jacksonville. N. C. For traveling,
the bride has selected a white linen
suit, white accessories and a
yellow rose corsage.
Both tbe bride and groom were
graduated from Newfane Central
School. The bride also graduated
from Bryant and Stratton Business
Institute, Buffalo and tbe
groom is serving with tbe U. S.
Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune,
N.C.
Pre-nuptial showers were given
by Mrs. Donald Drake and Miss
Sharon Steen, both of Newfane, at
the home of Mrs. Drake; Mrs.
Charles Griffin, Lockport; Miss
Carole Aderman and Miss Judith
Large, both of Newfane, at their
apartment in Cleveland Dr., Buffalo;
Mn. Grace Moore and Mrs.
Lawrence Moore, Gasport st tbe
