Registered Nurse for Kenmore Mercy Hospita;
Evelyn E. (nee Ensminger) Oship, age 60, of the City of Tonawanda, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Ensminger. Evelyn was a 1972 graduate of Tonawanda High School. She was employed as a Registered Nurse and had worked for Kenmore Mercy Hospital for the past 40 years. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in the City of Tonawanda. Evelyn enjoyed quilting, swimming, and loved her dog, Cleo.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Paul W. Oship; three children, Paul W. Oship, Jr. and James C. Oship, both of Buffalo, NY, and Mallory E. Oship of the Town of Tonawanda; her mother Evelyn (Boehnke) Ensminger of the City of Tonawanda; a sister Karen (Dennis) Hoyer of North Tonawanda; and one brother Mitchell (Regina) Ensminger of the City of Tonawanda; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan & Broad Sts.) City of Tonawanda. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30, at 11 AM at Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St. in the City of Tonawanda. Friends invited. Rev. Jeremy Lopez will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
