A quiet but lovely wedding took
place Saturday morning, February
14, when Miss Marjorie Boesken,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Boesken, was united in marriage
to Mr. Edward Morgan, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Peter Morgan. The wedding
was solemnized at 9 o'clock in
8t. Teresa's rectory, with the Rev.
John M Ryan officiating at the
ceremony. '
The bride wore a street-length
dress of dusky pink, with which she
wore powder blue-accessories:-Her
corsage was of tiger lilies, blue
mums and pink rosebuds.
Miss Margaret Hailey, the bride's
only attendant, wore a street-length
dress of tomato red, with which she
wore black- accessories. Her corsage
was similar to that of the bride.
The bride's mother wore navy
blue, with matching accessories. Her
corsage was of mixed flowers- centered
with rosebuds.
Vhe mother of the bridegroom was
attired in navy blue, with which
she wore black accessories. Her
corsage was of mixed flowers, centered'
with 'rosebuds.
The bridegroom was attended by
his brother, Mr. Charles Morgan.
Immediately after the ceremony
a wedding breakfast was held at
the Samovar for the members of
the immediate families.
A reception was helld in the after-
noon and evening at the home of
the bride's parents.
The bride traveled in a beige wool
dress, with which she wore brown
accessories.
Pre-nuptials for the bride were a
personal shower given, by Mrs;
Harold Clark, a bedroom shower
given by Mrs. Jack Kavanaugh and
a shower held at the Ray-Ott, given
by the .girls in the Carborundum
office.
After a trip to Cincinnati and
Chicago, the young couple will be
at home at 1870 Michigan avenue
