THE WEDDING MASS for Miss Patricia
Colleen Brigante and James liquid Silyaggi
was sung by the bride's aunts, Mrs John Barber
and Mrs. Anthony Travis, at 10 a.m. Saturday
(Aug. 13, 1966) at St Joseph's Church.
Rev, Carl Fenice officiated at the double ring
ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Brigante, 457 19th St., and the son of
Mr, and Mrs. James Silvaggj, 3401 Woodlawn
'Ave.
Given in. marriage by her father, the bride
wore a gown of white silk pique and venise
lace, with scoop neckline,^ jace: appjjqued
sleeves and empire bodice, The A line skirt
featured lace appliqued inserts at the hemline
and detachable square chapel train. A matching
pillbox secured her bouffant veil of illusion
and she carried a cascade of Arctic pompons
and lemon heaves.
MRS. JAMES BRIGANTE, sister-in-law of
the bride, was attired in a two tone-linen
gown with an avacado nile top, empire bodice
enhanced with venise lace and matching velvet
ribbon. A matching circlet of- lace held
her bouffant veil.-
Mrs Mrs. Frank Alongi, sister of the bride and
Mrs. Michael Augustino were attired similarly
to the maid of honor. All attendants carried a
single Fugi mum surrounded by lemon leaves
with a garland of Arctic pompons and ivy.
Best man. was James Brigante, brother of
the bride. Louis Alongi, Michael Augustino
and Neil Brigante", brother of the bride, and
Gary Manuse seated the guests.
An afternoon reception was^held at the
Como Restaurant. For the reception, the
mother of the pride wore a pink shantung suit
with a white lace shell. The bridegroom's
mother wore a powder blue silk linen suit with
a.matching hat. Rpth wore orchid corsages
Immediately after the ceremony, a wedding
breakfast was held at the home of the bride.
After a, wedding trip to New York City,
the couple will reside in Woodlawn Avenue.
