George E. Bonacker, of 1357 Ontario
avenue, one of the oldest
natives and lifelong desldent of Niagara
Falls, died in Mount St.
Mary's hospital at 3;30 o'clock yesterday
morning, following an Illness
of two months.
Mr. Bonacker was a son of the
late Jacob and Margaret Bonacker,
widely known residents of pioneer
days. He was 80 years old. Long
active In fraternal affairs, be was
a member of the Independent Order
of Odd Fellows and the Exempt
Firemen's association and had a
wide circle of friends, among whom
he was held In high esteem. Surviving
him are a daughter, Mrs. A
M. Thomas, and a dauhgter-in-law,
Marguerite R. Bonacker.
Funeral services will be held under
I.O.O.F. auspices at Mrs. Thomas'
home, 28T7 Macklem avenue,
at 3:80 pm. tomorrow with the
Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer, of the
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church
officiating. Burial will be in
Riverdale cemetery.
