Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Scibetta,
442 Eighteenth street, announce the
engagement of their daughter, Josephine,
to Mr. Frank Bongiovanni,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Carmen J. Bongioyannii
450 Twenty-seventh street.
The wedding will take place in the
near future.

Breakfast and.'dinner at the Como
Restaurant and a reception at the
Casa Columbo were held after the
ceremony this' morning in which
Miss Josephine Theresa Scibetta.
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick
Scibetta. Eighteenth street, and Mr.
Frank R. Bongiovanni. son of Mr.
and Mrs. Carmen Bongiovanni,
Twenty-seventh street. were united
in marriage.
The wedding took place at St.
Joseph's church, with the Rev. William
Glavin. CM.. Niagara university
officiating. The altar was
flanked with sprays of white gladioli
and mums. Miss Florence Demarest
provided the organ music and solo.
The bride's long-sleeved gown was
of colonial satin with a Rertha
collar edged with imported lace. and
had a fitted bodice. The full satin
skirt was picked up in the front by
rows of lace trimmed with lily-of-
the-valley, and the long court train
also was edged with lace. She wore
a queen's crown with iced pearls
and rhinestones attached to a long
imported French veil edged with imported
rose-point lace. She carried
a Bible adorned with a white orchid
and lily-of-the-valley falling with
the streamers.
The former Miss Scibetta chose
Miss Frances Rubino as maid of
honor, and her bridesmaids were
the Misses Janet Ricchione. Mary
Fazio and Rosalie LaBarber. with
Miss Vinny Scibetta as junior brides-
maid. The maid of honor was at-
tired in a strapless nylon taffeta
dress and the bridesmaids wore orchid
nylon taffeta strapless gowns. The
junior bridesmaid chose a Nile green
nslon taffeta dress with a matching
jacket. All the attendants of the
bride carried colonial bouquets of
roses.
Best man for the bridegroom was
Mr. Vincent Pallacci, and the ushers
were Messrs. Henns Ficorilli. Peter
Sirianni and Joseph Gullo, with Carl
Bongiovanni as junior usher. Ring
bearer was Joseph Scibetta.
The bride's mother favored black
marquuette with white trim, and the
mother of the bridegroom selected
a navy blue crepe gown trimmed
in taffeta.' Each wore a corsage of
red roses.
The bride chose for her traveling
costume a navy blue checked
suit, red shoes and bag. and a white
pique hat and white gloves.
After their wedding trip through
the Catskill and Adirondack mountains,
the couple will reside at 442
Eighteenth street.
