daughter. Miss Jacqueline Boone, to Robert
W. Carpenter, U.S. Navy, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ralph Carpenter. Shepherdston. W. Va.
Miss Boone, a 1968 graduate of LaSalle
High School, is employed at Headquarters.
U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington. D.C.
Mr. Carpenter, a graduate of Shepherdston
High School, attended Shepherdston College.
He is stationed at Norfolk, Va
The wedding will take place Feb. 21 at
Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church.

officiated at the double-ring
nuptials for the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John C. Boone,
1034 90th St., and the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Carpenter,
Shepherdstown, W.
Va.

THE BRIDE was given in
narriage by her father. She
wore a gown of rosepoint lace
styled with high neckline,
empire bodice, A-line skirt
and matching lace-trimmed
mantilla. She carried an Edwardian
colonial bouquet of
white stock, daisies, glamelias
.md lily of the valley- with
pale blue and white satin
streamers.
The maid of honor was Miw
Christine Kelly, in royal blut
velvet skirt and powder blut
chiffon bodice with f u ll
sleeves and lace accents. Her
headpiece of illusion veiling
was trimmed with -smallvelvet
bows. She carried a
colonial bouquet of blue-tipped
c a r n a t i o n s and white
snowdrift pompons.
The bridesmaids, similarly
attired, were Miss Joyce
Carpenter, sister of the
bridegroom, of Shepherdstown,
and Miss B a r b a ra
Henshaw.

Ushers were James C. Boone,
brother of the bride," of
Baltimore, Md.
A afternoon reception was
held' at the Red Coach Inn.
The couple plans a wedding
trip to Canada.
