engagement of their
aughter, Ruth to Eason
Muir, son of Leslie Muir.
The wedding is planned for
early November.

The Rev. Elmer Armes officiated at the nuptial
rites at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 1963 at the Clinton
Street Methodist Church when Miss Ruth Pratz became
the bride of Eason Muir. White carnations and
pompons graced the altar.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. F r ed
Pratz of 181 Park Ave. The
groom is the son of Leslie
Muir of the Hess Road,
Appleton.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a
white gown of rosepoint lace
fashioned with a bateau
neckline and fitted bodice.
The bouffant skirt of lace
featured tulle ruffles at
the back which terminated
in a chapel train. A matching
lace and pearl headpiece
held her veil of silk illusion
and she carried a
cascade bouquet of white
carnations accented with ivy
streamers,
Mrs. Mable Moore of Middleport,
sister of the groom
served as the honor attendant
wearing a bouffant gown
of gold taffeta. A yellow
headpiece and matching veil
completed her ensemble and
she carried a cascade bouquet
of yellow chrysanthemums
accented with orange
ribbon.
Robert Moore of Middleport,
attended as his brother's
best man. Seating
guests were Robert Pratz,
brother of the bride, and
George Adams of Middleport.
Following the reception at
the Hotel Lox - Plaza in
Lockport, the couple left for
Radford, Va., their future
home.
The bride attended Lockport
Schools and the groom
attended Newfane Central
School.
