CINCINNATI, .Ohio-The Papal blessing was
bestowed upon Miss Nancy Lee Doherty . and Anthony
J. Borgese for their marriage Saturday (Oct.
21, 1967) at Bdlarmine Chapel of Xavier University.
The 10 a.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev.
John F. Willman, cousin of the bride, who obtained
the blessing with/the help of Henry Borgese, uncle
of the bridegroom, who resides in Rome, Italy;
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. D.-Edward
Doherty, Cincinnati, and Mr.
Borgese is the son of Mr..and
Mrs. Joseph Borgese, 2907
Lewiston Road, Niagara Falls,

The bride Was attired in an
empire gown of peau de "soie
with a cathedral train. She
earned a crescent of while fiji
chrysanthemums.
Miss Sylvia Doherty was her
sister's maid of honor and
bridesmaids were Miss Pat
D.oherty and Miss Kathy Doherty,
cousins of the bride,.and
Miss Kathy Sue Doherty, also
a sister of the bride. Julie
Anne Eichelberger was flower
girl. The attendants wore fur-"
trimmed gold brocade gowns.
Richard Briand, Niagara
Falls, was best man. Ushers
were Emmauele Rao, Angelo
Morinello and Matthew Schiro,
all of Niagara Falls. James
Eichelberger was ring-bearer. •
A reception was held at the
Trolley Tavern Ballroom.
After a honeymoon in the
Bahamas, the newlyweds will
reside in Covedale, Ohio.
