Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Bos
well, River Rd., Lewiston,
announce the engagement
of their daughter, Miss
Ann Boswell, to Robert A.
MacFarlane, Cayuga Island,
son of Mrs. Nicholas
Fagiani, North Ave., and
the late Alexander MacFarlane.
The wedding will take
place March 21 at the
First P r e s b y t e r i an
Church, Lewiston.

THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Lewiston,
was the scene of the marriage Saturday (March 21,
1959) of Miss Ann Boswell and Robert A. MacFarlane.
The Rev. Paul Larrimore Denise performed the doublering
ceremony in the chancel.
Palms, white snapdragons, calla lilies and yellow
roses decorated either side of the stairs of the chancel.
Seven-branch candelabra and white gladioli graced
the Communion table. Palms and yellow pompons
accented the corners of the chancel.
Matthew Tucker was organist
and Mrs. Norman F.
Windsor v. as soloist.

to thechancel on the arm nflier
father to become the
bride of Mr. MacFarlane,
son of Mrs. Nicholas Fagiani.
North Ave., and the
late Mr. MacFarlane.
A ballerina-length organza
gown was worn by the bride.
It was trimmed with rosepoint
lace - and fashioned
with a scalloped sabrina
neckline with a princessline
front panel and side
panels of gathering continuing
to a bustle back
An appliqued bandeau
held her scalloped veil and
she carried a colonial bouquet
of white roses and hiics
of the vallrv.
MISS LOIS TUTTLE was
maid of honor. She favored
a street length shirtwaist
dress of white silk organza
with blue embroidery accenting
the collar, wide belt
and full skirt. She wore a
blue picture hat with hemline-
length blue streamers
and carried a colonial bouquet
of yellow roses and
white pompons brushed with
blue.
Attired similarly to the
honor attendant were the
bridesmaids, Miss Heather
Jamieson and Mrs. Robert
Stairrat. They carried colonial
bouquets of blue roses
and yellow pompons with
blue streamers.
CHARAN BURFORD as
flower girl, was attired in a
short white nylon eyelet
dress over a blue underskirt.
She wore a blue bonnet
trimmed with white, flowers
and carried a small white
basket of yellow, white and
blue pompons.
GEORGE C. JAMESON
was best man. Richard Corcoran,
Ronald Schumann
and David Winker seated
the wedding guests.
Mr. and Mrs. MacFarlane
will make their future home
at 860 Onondaga St., Lewiston.
