Mr. and Mrs. Ward Smith and
daughter. Miss Delia Smith, at
tauded the funeral Sunday at the
Smythe Funeral Home. Lyndonvtlle.
of Mrs. Smith's sister. Mrs.
Flora Cooper, Lyndonville. Another
sister, Mrs. Delia Mudge. and son,
Francis, Jamestown, were guests at
the Smith home and attended the
funeral.

LYNDONVILLE. Jan. 30 - A
church worker, Mrs. Flora E. Cooper,
88. died Wednesday at Medina Memorial
Hospita. where she had been
ill with pneumonia for a week.
Born in Somerset July 19. 1859.
me daughter of William and Helen
Bullem Bowen, she married George
H. Cooper May 11. 1881. and resided
in Yates her entire married life. Mr.
Cooper died May 26. 1943.
Mrs. Cooper, who was a member
of the Lyndonville Presbvterian
Church and the Worthwhile Class
of that church, took part in church
work until three years ago when
she suffered a broken hip.
Survivors are two sons, Fred and,
George of Lyndonvllle; one daugh-'
ter, Mrs, Henry Welch, Upland, Cal :
two sisters. Mrs Warren Smith. Bar
ker and Mrs. Delia Mudge, Lakewood;
nine grandchildren. and 11
great-grandchildren. A grandson,
Harry Cooper, was killed in action
in Germany in 1944.
Services will be held Sunday at 2
o'clock at the Smythe Funeral Home
with the Rev. Thomas Tighe, pastor
of the Presbyterian Church, of-
flciating. Burial will be in Lynhaven
Cemetery with the grandsons acting
as bearers.
