LOCKPORT-Services for Albert
M. Bowler, 54, of 55 Roby
St., custodian at St. Joseph's
Academy, will be held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the Prudden & Kandt
Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Cold Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Bowler suffered a fatal
heart attack at his home Saturday
evening (April 12, 1958) Efforts by
city firefighters to revive him were
unsuccessful.
Mr. Bowler was born here July
14, 1903, the son of George and
Harriett Morton Bowler. Before
working at the academy he had
been employed by the H.C. Mapes
Construction Co. here..
He was a member of the Redman's
Club, Tioga Tribe No. 289
and of Local No. 242, Plumbers
and Steamfitters Union.
Surviving him are three brothers
and a sister, George Bowler,
Rochester, Paul Bowler, Mrs.
Fred Seeloff and Norval Bowler,
all of Lockport, and several nieces
and nephews.
