LOCKPORT-Elmer E Bowler. 41,
an employe of the City Water department,
suffered a heart attack
last evening while spreading ashes
on the city streets and was taken
to his home, 265 Grand street, where
he died an hour later. He had been
employed by the city for 14 years.
He was a native of Lockport, a
veteran of the first World War and
a member of B. Leo Dolan Post. No.
410. American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fern
A. Bowler; three sisters and one
brother, Mrs. Leonard Glidden and
Miss Mary Bowler, of this city, Mrs.
Arthur Beader. of Royal Oak. Mich.,
and William Bowler, of Buffalo.
Services will be held Wednesday at
2:30 p.m. at the home. Burial will
be in Cold Springs cemetery.
