Ogdensburg. May 18.-The
funeral for Andrew A. Bray.
77, of 321 Ford avenue, who
died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday in
Pritchard pavilion of St. Law-
rence State hospital where
he had been a patient five
weeks, was held this morning
at the Lalonde-Briggs fu-
neral home and Notre Dame
church at 9.
Burial was in St. Mary's
cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Margaret M. Bray; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Patrick W. O'Grady,
Odgdensburg; three sons,
Robert W., Ogdensburg;
Richard A., Mohawk; John J.
Bray, Cincinnati, O.; a sister,
Mrs. Rena Miller, Fremont,,
Calif.; a brother, Leo, Punta
Gorda, Fla., and 13 grand-
children.
Mr. Bray was born in Og-
densburg, Sept. 30, 1887, a
son of Andrew and Caroline
Boyer Bray. In 1919, he mar-
ried Miss Margaret Jacobs at
St. Mary's cathedral. The late
Rt. Rev. Msgr. Edmund J.
Brown officiated.
Mr. Bray formerly was a
marine engineer on the Great
Lakes. In 1932, he joined the
customs service, to which he
was appointed by the late
John C. Tulloch, former col-
lector
of St. Lawrence District
7, and served 15 years
in the headquarters office.
He later served as a customs
inspector in Cincinnati. O..
ten years. He retired in 1957.
He was a member of Notre
Dame church.
