Mr. and Mrs. William Draper
Jr. of 5330 Townline
Road, Sanborn, have announced
the engagement of
their niece, Miss Sharon
Lynn Powell, to Frederick
J. Brimmer, son of Mr. and
Mrs. David L. Brimmer of
4487 Lake Ave., Lockport.
Miss Powell is a graduate
of Niagara Wheatfield
Central School and is employed
by the Hooker
Chemical Corp. at Niagara
Falls.
Mr. Brimmer, a graduate
of Royalton - Hartland Central
School and Erie County
Technical Institute at
Buffalo, is employed by the
New York Central Railroad
in Rochester.
A spring wedding is planned.

LOCKPORT-First English Lutheran Church'
was the setting for the marriage Saturday
(March .30, 1968) of Miss Sharon Lynn Powell,
Sanborn,.and Frederick J. Brimmer. The Rev.
Harold Hawthorne officiated at the 3 p.m.
ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Powell,
v niece of Mr. and Mrs. William Draper, 5330
Townline Road, Sanborn, and Mr. Brimmer,
son of Mr.- and Mrs. David Brimmer, 4487
Lake Ave.
Given in marriage by her uncle, the bride
wore a gown of white silk organza with Rosepoint
lace trimming the empire bodice, sleeves
and A-linev skirt. Her matching train was
chapel length and a headpiece of flowers and
petals secured her bouffant veil. She carried
a bouquet of white lillies.

MRS. WILLIAM FALLON, Niagara Falls,
was matron of honor. She wore a saki linen
gown of turquoise with roll collar and A-line
skirt. A matching cluster of flowers held her
face vol and she carried yellow and white
pompons.
Similarly attired were the bridesmaids, Miss
Lynn Draper and Miss Judy Etherton, Town
of Lewiston.

DENNIS BESCO, Lockport, was best man.
George. Brimmer, Lockport, and Gary Etherton,
Town of Lewiston, were ushers.
An evening reception was held at the 4-H
Training Center here.
On their return from a wedding trip to Vermont,,
Mr. and Mrs. Brimmer will make their
home at 1789 Stone Road, Rochester.
