Mr. and Mrs. H. Lee Plant of 66
Grant street announce the engagement
of their dsughter, Mary Elisabeth,
to Roger E. Branch, son of
Mrs. Alida C. Branch of 76 Beverly
avenue.
The wedding will take place In
July.

Plant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H
Lee Plant to Roger E. Branch will
solemnized Saturday afternoon at
4 o'clock in Grace Episcopal church.
Dr Henry F. Zwicker and the Rev
George Gurney of Canastota will
officiate.
No invitations have been issued
and fri e n d s are cordially invited to
attend.
Among the entertainments given
for Miss Plant before her marriage
were the following:
A luncheon and bathroom shower
given by Mrs. Lyman See Harwood
and Miss Frances T. Reese at Count
ry Gardens; a kitchen shower given
bv Mrs John Hensel at her home
on the Lower Mountain road.
The faculty of Hawley street school
gave a dinner at V . Fairfax In Buffalo
Mrs. Irving F. Clark and Mrs.
Robert Wallace were hostesses at a
luncheon and linen shower at the
Park hotel.
Mrs Hubbard White of Medina
entertalned at a dinner and bridge
at her home in Medina; a variety
lower was given by Mrs. Donald
Pew at her home on South Transit
street.
Mrs. H Earl Plant entertained at
a pantry shower at her home on
Walnut street; Miss Evelyn Chishoim
gave a gadget shower at her
home in Buffalo.

Imported organdy or pink shading from the pale shade
worn by the bride to the deep pink worn by the bridesmaids
made a beautiful combination or color with the bouquets of blue
and pink they carried for the Branch-Plant nuptial performed
Saturday at 4 o'clock in the Grace Episcopal church.
The bride, Miss Mary E. Plant,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Le
Plant of 56 Grant street, wore pale
pink embroidered organdy with
short sleeves, pepum and full skirt.
She carried an arm bouquet of light
blue delphinium, pale pink sweet-
peas and gardenias tied with white.
Her finger-tip veil was of flesh
illusion.
The attendants wore plain or-
gandy dreses made in the same
style. Her sister, Miss Virginia
Plant,, was maid of honor wearing
a slightly deeper shade of pink with
matching Dutch cap and carrying
darker delphinium, pink roses and
gypsophila.
The bridemaids, Miss Frances T.
Reese and Mrs. Lyman Harwood.
wore gowns and hats of darker
pink and carried a still deeper
shade of delphnium,, pink roses and
gypsophila. Flowers of the attend-
ants were tied with blue.
The bridegroom,, Roger E. Branch,
son of Mrs. Alida C. Branch of 76
Beverly avenue, was attended by
Irving G.. Clark as best man and
Frank J. Ripple of Niagara Falls
and Lyman Harwood as ushers.
Dr. Henry F. Zwicker performed
the ceremony assisted by the Rev.
George Gurney of Canastota. Scott
Ford played the wedding music.
Mrs. Plant wore a dress of navy
sheer with white accessories and
Mrs. Branch wore a navy and white
print with navy accessories.. Both
wore corsages of roses.
Church decorations were of ddel-
phinium, roses, Madonna Lilies. A
reception to 75 in the parish house
followed the ceremony. Decorations
there were of gift baskets of garden
flowers. The bridal table was deco-
rated with Madonna lilies and cen-
tered with a three-tiered wedding
cake.
After a trip to the Adirondacks,
the couple will make their home at
98 Saxton street. The bride's travel-
ing ensembe was a teal blue suit
with white accessories.
Out-of-town guests were from
Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Sodus, Me-
dina, Hamburg, Gasport and New-
fane.
