VERY REV. KENNETH F. SLATTERY, CM.,
president of Niagara University, performed the
double-ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss
Sharon Marlene Brandel and 1st Lt
Simon today (Nov. 13, 1965) at St
Cataract Church.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Aloysius J.
Brandel, 4760 Chester Ave.
Parents of the bridegroom
are Mr. and Mrs. Matthew
Simon, Buffalo.

ESCORTED by her father,
the bride selected a peau de
soie and Alencon lace empire
gown fashioned with an
Ajline skirt and lace bodice
beaded with seed pearls.
A cathedral-length Alencon
lace mantilla complemented
her gown. She carried
a cascade of white orchids
and stephanotis.
Mrs. Eugene J. Virtuoso
was matron of honor attired
in a ruby red velvet and
pink crepe empire gown
with an A4ine skirt. A
matching ruby red velvet
bow complemented her ensemble.
She carried a cascade
of red roses with silver
leaves.

SIMILARLY DRESSED
were the bridesmaids, Mrs.
Robert J. Brandel, Miss
Kathleen R. Hassenfratz,
Miss Kathleen A. Zwiefka,
and Miss Andrea L. Brandel,
sister of the bride. They
carried cascades of pink
roses with ruby red velvet
leaves.
Robert J. Brandel, brother
of the bride, was the best
man. Guests were seated by
Robert H. Miltenberger II,
William J. Powers, William
T. Gacioch, and John B.
McGee Jr., all of Buffalo.
G. Scott Smith was the
ringbearer.
The reception and dinner
will be held this evening at
the Tenderloin Restaurant.
The mother of the bride will
greet her guests in a blue
and gold brocade gown with
gold accessories. A turquoise
blue lace dress with matching
accessories will be the
choice of the bridegroom's
mother.
The couple will be at
home in Kileen, Tex.
