The marriage of Miss Mathilda M.
Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
W. R. Thompson of Prospect avenue
to Elmer J. Brauer "took place last
Thursday at the" home of the bride's
parents,, the Rev. W. S. Mitchell officiating.
The bride wore a dress of' white
georgette trimmed with' satin brocade
"and carried bride's roses. Miss Bertha
Thomson, sister of the bride, who was
maid of honor, wore pink georgette
trimmed with turquoise blue and carried
Killarney roses. A. W. Dechert
was best man. .
Following the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the bride's parents.
Covers, were'.laid'for twenty at
tables centered with roses. The house
decorations were palms and roses.
Among the out-of-town guests were
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Johnson of Dunkirk
and Arthur Dechert of Ithaca.
Mr. and Mrs. Brauer have gone on
a trip to the Thousand Islands and
will be at home after August 15 at No.
450 Goodyear avenue.
