Mr: and Mrs. Wright Mortimer.
Pierce Ave., announce the engagement
of their daughter, Jean to
Richard C. Braun. son of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Braun, 23 Fillmore
Ave., Tonawanda.
Miss Mortimer and her fiance
have chosen. May 3, for their wedding
date because it will also be
her parents' 25th wedding anniversary.
The marriage will take place in
Zion Lutheran Church, Niagara
Falls.

MISS JEAN V. MORTIMER,
daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Wright Mortimer,
Pierce Ave., and Richard C.
Braun, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Braun, Tonawanda,
were married Saturday afternoon
(May 3, 1958).
The Rev. A r th u r H.
Schmoyer, D.D., officiated at a
double-ring ceremony at Zion
Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Dr. Schmoyer married t h e
bride's parents on the same day
at the same church 25 years
ago.
THE BRIDE wore a gown of
embroidered sheer fashioned
with sabrina neckline, long
sleeve* and full skirt that fell
to intermission length. A caplet
of flowers caught her fingertiplength
veil and she carried a
bouquet of white r o s e s wtoh
variegated ivy.
Miss Karen Kruegcr was maid
of honor. She was attired in a
ballet - length gown of white
eyelet over mimosa yellow. A
yellow straw clip headdress and
cascade bouquet of talisman
roses completed her costume.
Mrs. Diana Fultz, bridesmaid,
was attired similarly to the
honor attendant.
RALPH LUKE was best man
and ushers were Glenn Neumann
and Gustave Streer.
The Plantation Restaurant'was
the scene of a reception. The
bride's mother received in a
beige lace dress matched with
beige .accessories. She wore a
corsage of cymbidium orchids.

THE MOTHER of the bridegroom
selected an avocado green
dress, beige accessories and yellow
rose corsage.
After a honeymoon in Washington,
D. C, and Luray Caverns,
Va,, the newlyweds will reside
at 26 Dexter Terrace, Town
of Tonawanda.
