LYNDONVILLE - Homer L.
Breed, 77, of 49 Lake Ave., Lyndonville,
died Wednesday at
Rose Villa Nursing Home, Albion,
where he had been a patient
for one month. He had been in
ill health for a long time.
Mr. Breed was born July 2,
1892 in the Town of Ridgeway,
the son of Jay and Inez Lott
Breed and was a lifelong resident
of this area.
Until his retirement a few
years ago, he had been a farmer
in the Lyndonville area.
On Oct. 30, 1919 he was married
to Miss Mildred Fisher of
Ridgeway, who survives him.
Mr. Breed had been a member
of Yates Lodge 675, F&AM,
for more than 40 years, and attended
Lyndonville United Methodist
Church.
Surviving, besides his widow,
are a son, Warren (Burr)
Breed; three grandchildren; a
sister, Mrs. Ross (Helen) Barlow
of Lyndonville, three nephews
and several cousins.
Another son, Newell, was killed
during World War II,
Friends may call from 7 to 9
p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 tomorrow at the Smythe Funeral
Home, here, where funeral
services wilt be held at 2:30
p.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in West Ridgeway
Cemetery.
Memorials may fee made to
Lyndonville United Methodist
Church.
