An attractive home wedding was
solemnized. Saturday afternoon at
4 o'clock at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Pless. paak Place, when
their daughter, Florence, became
the bride of Robert A. Smith, son
of Mr. and Mrs.. Carl Smith of
Lockport.
Tall vases of gladioli were ar-
ranged about the living room where
the ceremony was performed by te
Rev. Herman Maier, pastor of Trin-
ity Lutheran Church. The bride,
given in marriage by her father,
wore a street-length dress of royal
buue velvet with matching acces-
sories and a corsage of gardenias,
pink roses,, delphinium and gypso-
phila.
Miss Elaine Graves, the brie's
onlly attendant,, wore a street-length
dress of burgandy velvet with
matching accessories and a corsage
of Johananna Hill roses, delphinium
and gypsophia. Mark Raymond Jr.
was best man.
Mrs Pless, mother of the brde,
wore a Australian green dress
with matching accessories and a
corsage of Johanna Hills roses,
delphinium and gypsophila..
Twenty-five guests attended the
ceremony and reception following.
The bride's table was decorated
with white candles and centered
with the bride's cake. Mr.. and Mrs.
Smith left for a wedding trip to
Detroit.
The bride was feted at a red and
white kitchen shower a last week
given by Mrs. Fred Pless and Mrs.
Oliver Weaver, sister of the bride,,
at the latter's home.
