announce the engagement of their
daughter, Ann, to Henry Jurek,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jurek
of Transit Rd., East Amherst

On Saturday, April 12, at 10
a.m. in Mt. St. Mary's Acamedy
Chapel, the marriage of Miss Ann
Rose Brenon, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Leo Brenon of Delaware avenue,
Town of Tonawanda, and
Henry Jurek, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Jurek of East Amherst was
solemnized by the Reverend James
Donovan. •
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of white
satin with sweetheart neckline
and long fitted sleeves, outlined
in Belgian lace. The full skirt
formed a court length train. Her
long veil of illusion was held with
a crown of seed pearls and orange
blossoms and she carried an arm
bouquet of white roses and snapdragons.
Miss Lucille Brenon, sister of
the bride, was maid of honor,
wearing a gown of green marquisette
with matching headdress. She
carried yellow roses and snapdragons.
The Misses Rosemary
Brenon and Helen Brenon and
Miss Margaret Fortune were
bridesmaids. They wore gowns of
blue, pink and orchid marquisette
respectively and carried roses and
snapdragons.
Little Donna Systek, niece of the
bridegroom, was the flower girl
wearing a long white marquisette
dress with pink bows and carrying
a colonial bouquet of pink
roses. Tommy Jurek, nephew of
the bridegroom was the ring bearer.
Richard Jurek attended his
brother as best man and the ushers
were Paul Spoth, Joseph Brenon
and Robert Jurek.
The mother of the bride chose
a Navy blue dress with pink lace
trim and pink accessories and the
bridegroom's mother was attired
in a pink print dress with navy
blue accessories. Both wore corsages
of pink roses.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was served for the
immediate families. The table was
centered with a three tiered wedding
cake and decorated; with
Spring flowers. In the evening a
reception was given in the Delaware
Hotel for 200 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Jurek left for a
wedding trip to Washington, D.
C. and other southern points and
will be at home in Transit road,
East Amherst after May 1.
