WARREN - Dorothy Mary Brzezinski Scarnecchia, 98, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Gillette Nursing Home.
Dorothy was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Cleveland, a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Kujawa Brzezinski.
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren, Dorothy retired after 28 years of service from Packard Electric in 1977.
Dorothy loved to dance, especially ballroom dancing. She also enjoyed golfing and sewing and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Her memories will be cherished by her son, James F. Miller of Cortland; five sisters, Francis of Youngstown, Mary Ann of New York, Josephine of Niles, Harriett of Orwell and Kathy of Cortland; five grandchildren, Eddie Miller, Christopher Miller, Jim Kane, Danielle Kane Martin and Joe Kane; three great-grandchildren, Bryttany, Kayla and Lori; and three great-great-grandchildren, Madelynne, Brooklynne and Gianna.
Dorothy is preceded in death by a son, Ralph J. Miller; daughter-in-law, Janice Miller; and siblings, Frank, Joey, Tony, Walter, John, Willie, Leonard, Stella and Jenny.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. today at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road N.E., Warren, with the Rev. James P. Walker officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
